Until what date is the school year? Holidays in quarters

The children had four holidays a year and the longest holidays were summer, three months of freedom. in Moscow: the table helps everyone check it, because now the schedule “floats” every year.

There is probably no child in the country who does not anxiously watch the calendar, counting how many weeks are left before the holidays. Teachers also don’t let you forget; it’s important for them that the children pass their “tails” before rest and work out all the gaps. After all, at the end of the quarter, everyone receives a final grade. Therefore, subject teachers assign tests shortly before the holidays. True, just a few years ago the schedule was constant and approved, both teachers, students and parents knew it. But now he “floats” every year. Why does this happen and when to plan a vacation for children in 2017?

Reasons for the new “floating” schedule

Modern Russian laws speak directly - there is currently no approved, unified schedule for school classes and holidays. The Ministry has given schools the right to independently plan the number of days of rest and activities for children. How long will the short vacation periods last, how long will you rest in the summer? As do all extracurricular activities, such as summer detention.

Parents need to know one thing: when choosing a school for a child, find out what system they teach there. Traditional, where there are four quarters in a year and, accordingly, they rest as all schoolchildren used to do, or modular (when children study for five weeks and rest for one). Holidays 2016-2017 academic year in Moscow: each option has its own table and clear dates for the upcoming holidays are established. This is the situation in Moscow itself. Every year, educational authorities provide the regions with written recommendations setting the dates for the duration of the holidays. But these are only recommendations, not clear orders. The final decision rests with school administrations.

After which the last, final quarter will begin on April 3. Usually teachers remind the children that this is the last push and they need to try to get good annual grades. It does not last long, traditionally until May (the school administration itself decides when the last of the school days, because then perhaps some extracurricular activities will be planned for the last bell and a time for preparation needs to be agreed upon), but usually the end of the school year falls on the period from May 21 to May 31, after which the children will be released for three whole months.

Training schedule for modular schools with the “5+1” mode

This recently adopted innovation, along with the Western example of education, where children in some gymnasiums study as students and rest only a couple of times a year, is practiced by some schools. Usually, parents will find out in advance the features of the educational process of the chosen school and the holidays of the 2016-2017 academic year in Moscow: the table in modular schools will be as follows:

Autumn first October 3 to October 9;
autumn second November 14 to November 20;
winter first December 31 to January 8;
winter second February 20 to February 26;
spring April 10 to April 16.

With such a schedule, you can also plan a joint vacation with your child, as well as all his extracurricular activities. This way, schoolchildren can rest more often and the educational process is divided into smaller layers than their comrades from traditional educational institutions.

Schedule for schoolchildren for all quarters

Moscow schools, where the process is organized in the usual way and is divided into the usual 1 quarters, the children will rest as follows:

Autumn October 31 – November 6;
winter December 26-January 8;
spring March 27 – April 2;
summer (May 21-31) – September 1;
and additional holidays (for first-graders) on February 20-26.

Moreover, the latter was introduced recently, noting how difficult the educational process is for the little ones who went to kindergarten last year.

From whom can I find out the school schedule?

It is clear that there is no single schedule approved for everyone and each school (gymnasium, private institution, college) is forced to set its own work schedule. Therefore, it is impossible to find out accurate information on the website of the Ministry of Education on vacation dates. Parents are usually notified of the new schedule at a meeting on or shortly after September 1st. parental committee going for the first or second time. Holidays 2016-2017 academic year in Moscow: the table is sometimes posted on the notice board below and then it is available to everyone. But if this is not the case, you can find out your child’s schedule in different ways:

Holidays 2016-2017 school year in Moscow: the table on the school website or in the electronic diary is available for download.

The school year has not yet ended, and the Russian Ministry of Education is already drawing up a schedule for the next holidays.

Holidays take place at the same time: autumn, winter and spring. In schools that study in trimesters, the order is simple: five weeks of classes - one week of rest. But most Russian schools operate on the quarter system, so we will consider just such a schedule.

The exact holiday dates for schoolchildren will be known at the end of the summer, but for now we offer you the approximate dates during which the holidays for the 2016-2017 academic year will take place. And at the same time, options for entertainment and joint recreation with children.

You can also go on a short tourist trip during spring break. Even a couple of days in an unusual environment will give the child strength to make the final push – the fourth quarter.

Winter is perhaps the most long-awaited period in the life of schoolchildren, after summer, of course. At this time of year, students can expect not only holidays, but also the longest in comparison with the spring and autumn holidays. Winter holidays coincide with the middle of the school year, when it is time to take a break from studying. In addition, this is the longest weekend for parents. This is a good reason for the whole family to get together to spend time together. New Year, Christmas can be wonderfully planned out every day. As a rule, regardless of the teaching schedule of each school, winter holidays are spent the same way for everyone: two winter weeks.

Winter holidays at school are approved for the following dates:

In honor of the New Year, all schoolchildren are exempt from classes, regardless of whether they study in quarters or trimesters. Moreover, the New Year holidays, as a rule, “fit in” with the all-Russian weekend: in other words, schoolchildren rest almost simultaneously with adults, which gives parents an excellent opportunity to spend time with their children.

By the way, for first-graders who are just starting to get used to school life, additional holidays have been introduced - from February 18 to 25, 2018 (8 days). Meanwhile, in some schools such additional rest is provided for the entire “beginning” - for students from grades 1 to 4.

During the upcoming holidays and vacations, schoolchildren will enjoy many interesting and varied events, ranging from fabulous program at the New Year's tree. But of course, at this time, not a single child can be kicked out of the street, where there is a lot of snow, where you can ride down the slide and play snowballs with your friends. The slightly frosty and sunny weather itself invites you to engage in active activities. Some may have skis, others may have skates.

The main advice to parents: take your child away from the TV and computer during these long holidays.

Winter holiday calendar 2017-2018

New Year holidays, as a rule, begin in the last week of December and end on the 10th of January. Schoolchildren go to school on Monday. Winter holidays in the 2017/2018 academic year will continue from December 25 to January 8. First-graders will have additional holidays in winter* – from 19 to 25 February

The established dates for the winter holidays are primarily typical for those schools that study in quarters. But there are schools that teach in trimesters. The main difference between such training is that all teaching time is divided not into four parts, as in quarterly training, but into three.

Each of the trimesters, in turn, is divided into two parts, after each of which the children have a vacation.

After its completion, schoolchildren begin their winter holidays, which will last from December 31 to January 10. The second part of the winter term begins on January 10 and ends on February 21. After its completion, schoolchildren will have a holiday from February 21 to 27. The dates of the main winter holidays are the same for those who study in quarters and for those who study in trimesters. This rule always remains for the winter holidays. The only difference is availability additional holidays in trimesters.

First-graders also have their own vacation schedule, which is slightly different from high school. Children, like everyone else, will have their main winter holidays from December 25 to January 8. But there are also additional ones. Those who study in quarters will go on additional holidays from February 19 to 25.

The timing of the additional holidays themselves, as well as the timing of postponing holidays in general, depend on many factors. First of all, it depends on the air temperature. For junior classes The maximum minus temperature is set at 25 degrees, for high school This temperature is minus 28 degrees. And finally, for high school students (10-11) this temperature is minus 30 degrees Celsius. In addition, the temperature required for conducting classes in classrooms has been determined. If it is below plus 18 degrees, then classes cannot be conducted. In winter, the morbidity threshold also increases much more often. At the same time, quarantine can be declared not only in a region, district or city, but also in a separate school if the epidemic threshold exceeds 25% of the total number of schoolchildren.

Autumn holidays at school in 2018 are approved for the following dates:

Most of them study according to the quarter system, so their holidays will begin at the end of October, and they will have to go to school on Monday 8th.

IN Soviet period school holidays were strictly limited to certain days. Now they can change, and each school can set its own deadlines. Especially if it is, say, a private school. However, there is an order from the Education Committee that stipulates the vacation dates.

Based on this order, each school sets the start and end period for the holidays. Many have probably encountered the fact that in one school the holidays begin at one time, and in the neighboring school at a completely different time.

A natural question arises: what is this connected with?

There are two, let’s say, methods of learning: by quarters, the most common, and by trimesters. If the school operates in quarters, then the holiday schedule is standard, namely, 9 autumn days, New Year holidays last 10 days and spring holidays - 7 days. In addition, additional winter holidays lasting 7 days are established for first grades. How do children relax in schools that teach in trimesters? Here they study for 5 weeks and then rest for 1 week. Winter holidays are the same for all schools.

Calendar for autumn holidays 2018

The very first holidays are coming, which will begin in the new 2018 school year. Schoolchildren, especially middle-level students (grades 5-8), begin to wait for them almost a week after the start of school. And if it’s golden autumn outside, then children don’t even want to sit at their desks in good sunny weather.

School is a very fun time, which is remembered with tenderness and delight in adulthood. But while students are still in classrooms, it is very important for them to know the 2018-2019 school holiday schedule. Undoubtedly, even when the new school year is just beginning, almost every student is already wondering when the holidays will come. It is during the holidays that you can take a break from both difficult studies and the whole routine of school days. All parents of students also need to know the preliminary schedule of planned school holidays, because it often happens that the rest time of children and their parents is combined.

The planned rest time for students is also important for the teaching staff, as this allows you to create a systematic schedule of teaching hours and mandatory rest time.

The school holiday schedule for the 2018-2019 academic year in Russia is created and established in advance by the Ministry of Russian Education. Of course, in every educational institution There are provisions according to which the school administration can modify the time and duration of holiday dates. But any provisions must not in any way infringe on the rights of children-students, therefore the general norm of rest hours must necessarily be identical to the vacation time prescribed by law.

Around the beginning of the summer season, discussion of the planned rest period begins. Any discussions and provisions must be based on the norms approved by law. More exact dates become known at the beginning of each academic year. The administration of each educational institution can independently modify the approved dates. The discrepancy in dates is often up to 5 days or even 1 week.

At the moment, it is possible to provide only preliminary data regarding the planned school holidays. A lot can change over the summer period, so it is quite difficult to provide exact data. However, a rough schedule of school holidays for 2019 can already be assumed.

School holiday schedule for 2016-2016

In modern times, the Ministry of Education allows each educational institution to distribute a full academic year into a varying number of parts. Most Russian school institutions work in such a rhythm that the long school year is divided into four quarters, among which 4 periods of vacation time also systematically begin. But now a new method of planning educational time is slowly coming into fashion, where each subsequent academic year is divided into trimesters.

But here are the school holidays for the 2018-2019 academic year, the exact schedule of which has been approved for students receiving compulsory education under the division program school year for trimesters, it looks like this: students receive compulsory education for each subsequent five weeks, and after that, the children are given a week of vacation rest. But it is important to note that the mandatory New Year holidays for children receiving standard education and trimester education fall at the same time. That is, students begin the mandatory New Year's holiday at the end of December, and again continue the school year after January 10th.

Today, we can highlight an approximate vacation schedule for 2018-2019 when studying by trimester:

  • autumn rest time falls from October 29th to November 7th;
  • long winter holidays begin on December 24th, and again students begin compulsory education on January 10th;
  • An additional rest period for first-graders, as well as for children studying in correctional classes or in a correctional program, begins on February 18th. The end of the additional rest is scheduled for February 27th;
  • The spring vacation period for students is scheduled to begin on March 25th, and spring break ends approximately April 3rd;
  • Summer rest time for students also coincides with generally accepted norms. And in direct dependence on the name of the educational institution and its foundations, the children go on summer vacation from May 25th (the academic year can be extended until May 30th), and the beginning of the subsequent academic year falls on September 1st.

Vacations for students

The school vacation schedule for 2018-2019 has already been roughly determined, the dates of which will be approved a little later, but the students’ vacation schedule looks a little different.

If students rest for a sufficiently long time during each academic year, then students receive only 2 periods of rest for the entire academic year. The Ministry of Education has established that students can go on vacation only in the summer or winter. But the specified vacation time is very different from the rest of students of general education institutions. If schoolchildren rest for almost 2 weeks in winter, then most of the rest for students is taken up by passing the exam. The same circumstances apply to the summer holiday period. If students can already enjoy the hot days of rest from the beginning of June, then students can fully begin to relax only around the beginning of July.

It is also necessary to point out that the timing of vacation time for students cannot be determined. All exact schedules are approved in each educational institution individually. The only thing that coincides with other periods of rest is the period of winter holidays.

Safety during the holidays

The exact schedule of school holidays for 2018-2019 in Russia will be determined a little later, but now it is necessary to think about the safety of children during the duration of the holidays.

As a rule, during the summer holidays, children go on holiday to camps or dispensaries, but during the winter or spring, as well as autumn holidays, the children are left to their own devices. It is very important to convey to any child and student the safety rules during the holidays, this will help avoid the risk of a tragic or accident:

  1. It is very important to exercise maximum caution on the roads; if children ride bicycles or winter equipment during the holidays, then it is important for them to know the immediate rules of behavior on the road or roadway. It is imperative to take into account the rights of pedestrians, and when traveling on foot, exercise extreme care and caution.
  2. Children are not allowed to go to the forest or other areas without the accompaniment of their parents. It is dangerous to be on rivers in winter. During summer holidays It is forbidden to go alone or in the company of peers (without the presence of adults) to forests, fields, and hills.
  3. As a rule, at the very beginning of the school year, the exact schedule of all school holidays for 2018-2019 is known; photos of children spending their free time must be posted on information boards. Students must highlight the rules of mandatory and safe behavior during rest, as well as prohibiting actions. The main danger of present times is railways which students like to visit during their holidays. It is necessary to convey to students that staying near the railway tracks is strictly prohibited. Equally, you should not visit landfills, abandoned voids, construction sites and any other dark areas.
  4. Compliance with the necessary rules fire safety– this is an important basis of all fundamentals. Any games with fire are prohibited, and students younger age It is prohibited to handle matches or lighters, that is, any flammable objects.
  5. When visiting reservoirs, lakes or rivers in the summer, you must behave very carefully. If possible, it is necessary to go for a swim only in the presence of adults, this factor especially applies to elementary school students.
  6. During the period of snow melting, it is forbidden to stay under the roofs of houses to avoid falling icicles.
  7. Contact with wild or stray animals is prohibited. It is strictly forbidden to tease animals, even domestic ones.
  8. It is strictly forbidden to have contact with strangers; it is especially dangerous to travel with strangers to any place. It is not recommended to pay any attention to the requests of strangers, especially men. You should not accept treats or any other food from strangers.

Depending on the time of vacation, children are able to spend free time differently. Adults must present the basic rules of behavior for children in each case.

It is advisable to know in advance the exact vacation schedule for the 2018-2019 school year at school, since adults, in this case, can plan students’ leisure time in advance. Ideally, one of the children's vacation periods coincides with the parents' vacation period. During other periods, it is not recommended to leave children without adult supervision.
