The special rights specified in subparagraphs a and b of this paragraph may be granted to the same applicant. In case of granting the special right specified in subparagraph b of this paragraph, the highest result (100 points) of the corresponding entrance test(s) is established for the applicant.

Preferential right of enrollment is granted to the following persons:

1) orphans and children left without parental care, as well as persons from among orphans and children left without parental care;

Features of conducting entrance tests for persons with disabilities and people with disabilities.

1. IVT named after G.Ya. Sedov provides entrance examinations for applicants from among persons with disabilities health and (or) disabled people (hereinafter collectively referred to as those admitted with disabilities), taking into account the characteristics of their psychophysical development, their individual capabilities and health status (hereinafter referred to as individual characteristics).
2. Entrance tests for applicants with disabilities are held in a separate classroom. The number of applicants with disabilities in one classroom should not exceed:
when passing the entrance test in writing - 12 people;
when passing the entrance test orally - 6 people.
It is allowed for a larger number of applicants with disabilities to be present in the classroom during the admissions test, as well as for admissions tests for applicants with disabilities to be held in the same classroom together with other applicants, if this does not create difficulties for applicants when passing the admissions test.
It is allowed for an assistant from among the organization’s employees or involved persons to be present in the audience during the entrance test to provide assistance to applicants with disabilities.

b) for the visually impaired: individual uniform lighting of at least 300 lux is provided; If necessary, those arriving to complete the task are provided with a magnifying device; It is also possible to use your own magnifying devices; assignments to be completed, as well as instructions on the procedure for conducting entrance examinations, are drawn up in larger font;
c) for the deaf and hard of hearing, the availability of sound amplification equipment for collective use is ensured; if necessary, applicants are provided with individual sound amplification equipment

d) for the deaf-blind, the services of a sign language interpreter are provided (in addition to the requirements fulfilled respectively for the blind and the deaf);
e) for persons with severe speech impairments, the deaf, and the hard of hearing, entrance examinations are conducted in written form;
f) for persons with impaired motor functions of the upper limbs or the absence of upper limbs, written tasks are dictated to the assistant.
The above conditions are provided to applicants on the basis of an application for admission containing information about the need to create appropriate special conditions.

Entrance tests are conducted only in person on the territory of the Institute, without the use of remote technologies.

Rules for filing and considering appeals based on the results of entrance examinations.

1. An applicant who has passed the entrance examination in the form of a written or oral examination (or his authorized representative) has the right to submit to the appeal commission a reasoned written statement about a violation, in his opinion, of the established procedure for conducting the test and (or) about disagreement with its result.
2. The appeal must necessarily set out the motives that prompted the applicant to appeal to the appeal commission. A statement of disagreement with the assigned grade without substantiation of the argument is not considered an appeal and is not considered as such.
3. To consider appeals during the period of admissions tests, an appeal commission is created, the composition of which is approved by the director of the Institute.
4. The appeal commission includes the chairman, deputy chairman, chairman of the subject (examination) commission, members of the subject (examination) commission.
5. The chairman of the appeal commission is the director of the Institute, the deputy chairman is the executive secretary of the selection committee.
6. The chairman and his deputy organize the work of the appeal commission, monitor compliance with uniform requirements for exam papers and oral examination answers of applicants, ensure the protection of the rights of applicants.
7. During the entrance examinations, the appeal commission accepts no more than one appeal from an applicant per exam.
8. Appeals based on the results of entrance examinations conducted in the form of the Unified State Exam are not considered by the appeal commission of the GGTU.
9. Consideration of the appeal is not a retake of the entrance test. During the consideration of the appeal, only compliance with the established procedure for conducting the admissions test and (or) the correctness of the assessment of the results of the admissions test are checked.
10. The appeal is submitted on the day the results of the entrance test are announced or during the next working day. An appeal about a violation of the established procedure for conducting an admissions test can also be filed on the day of the admissions test.
11. Consideration of the appeal is carried out no later than the next working day after the day of its filing.
12. The applicant (trusted representative) has the right to be present during the consideration of the appeal. One of the parents or legal representatives has the right to be present with a minor applicant (under 18 years of age), except for minors recognized in accordance with the law as fully capable before reaching the age of majority.
13. After considering the appeal, the appeal commission makes a decision to change the assessment of the results of the entrance test or to leave the specified assessment unchanged.
14. The decision of the appeal commission, documented in the protocol, is brought to the attention of the applicant (authorized representative). The fact that the applicant (authorized person) has become familiar with the decision of the appeal commission is certified by the signature of the applicant (authorized person). The decision of the appeal commission is kept in the applicant’s personal file.

About the university

The branch of the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "MARINE STATE ACADEMY NAMED AFTER ADMIRAL F.F. USHAKOV" in the city of Rostov-on-Don has existed as an independent educational institution since April 1999. However, despite its youth, the Branch has eighteen years of experience educational activities, counting from 1992, when at the Rostov Maritime College. G.Ya. Sedov, the first groups of cadets were created high school. The modern educational concept is aimed at creating university (academic) complexes that unite the parent university and its branches in various regions of Russia, training specialists in this profile. Branch of the Maritime State Academy named after. Admiral F.F. Ushakov" in Rostov-on-Don is one of the striking examples of the implementation of such a policy.

The advantage of our Branch compared to other similar educational institutions is to obtain a state diploma from the parent university - the Maritime State Academy named after Admiral F.F. Ushakova, whose authority guarantees the subsequent employment of graduates.

The increased demands currently placed on maritime transport specialists, and, as a consequence, the emerging need for specialists with higher professional education, lead to significant competition not only for full-time, but also for correspondence department our Branch. Here is carried out theoretical training specialists with secondary vocational education and experience practical work in the navy.

In addition, the MGA Branch named after. Ushakova in Rostov-on-Don has a training center “Vega”, which provides retraining of specialists within the framework of additional vocational education and retraining of crew members.

Our Branch is continuously improving its material and technical base. The teaching staff in their educational activities uses the latest advances in computer and multimedia technologies, maintains close contact with specialists and teachers from leading universities in the city, as well as the parent university.
Within the framework of a single state educational standard A highly qualified teaching staff trains future highly professional maritime transport specialists in three specialties:

Training in ship specialties is carried out at the Branch in the amount of the first three courses. Further training of cadets is carried out at the head university in Novorossiysk. In 2009, at the Branch of the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Maritime state academy named after Admiral F.F. Ushakov" in Rostov-on-Don, the first graduation of engineers in the organization and management of water transport took place!

Creation of the university

State Medical University named after adm. F. F. Ushakova arose as the Novorossiysk Higher Marine Engineering School (Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR of April 30, 1974 No. 328). Functions with September 1, 1975. Since March 13, 1992 – Novorossiysk State Maritime Academy. Since September 2005 – Maritime State Academy named after. adm. F. F. Ushakova. In 1975, the following faculties were opened at NVIMU: navigation, ship mechanics, radio engineering and correspondence. As of September 1, 1978, 107 teachers worked at NVIMU, of which 42% had academic degrees and titles.

Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “State Maritime University named after Admiral F.F.
