Trying to get your things done in the way that everything is perfect is not a problem, but rather an advantage. The problem is that this is usually hard and sometimes impossible, and you are bound to spend too much time on a job that could be done quicker. And there is always that energy-saving argument: don't put too much effort in something that is not worth it.
